How Earthquakes Work

A woman at the Y asked me
if I read the Vindicator
because there's an article on fracking,
or rather on injection wells.
Evidently, the ODNR has been testing
for seismic activity, she said.
There hasn't been an earthquake since last year
so they think it's safe to start injecting again--
They think the earthquake risk has passed.
Is that how earthquakes work? she asked.
