Every summer I think I will write when I am here in my favorite place on earth. And I do write--a little. But I like to think playing-- or just staring out the window is sometimes a necessary interval in a writing life. Hah!

Wow, looks beautiful. There are definitely times when you should lay aside the pen, and breathe out for a while.
Every year we used to visit Maine. I miss it deeply and profoundly. It is truly what life should be --- except one does have to earn a living.
