I have to read and teach at Lake Erie College today, and I am taking Tom Clark's wonderful new book, Canyonesque, with me. I plan to and use the poem, "Poetry Lesson" in class.

Ah perfect. I love the end of the poem, and here it is. and more--in the link. Did you know that women used to wear merkins? When was that, the 1400s?
