This is a fairly common misconception, that the sun, the moon, and the stars take turns getting close to the earth. I had trouble understanding it at first, but I guess that is what it looks like, right? The sun is close during the day, the moon at night. Duh!

Okay, Dear Professor, it's a brave new world on whichever planet this is we are or are not on.
The sun is not in sight, nor is the word verification machine.
But these too may be more, more, more common misperceptions.
Then again, as the fellow (Keir Dullea, I think it was) said at the end of 2001, All these worlds!
(I had trouble understanding them at first, but that's what they were, right?)
Or was it, Ave, Dear Professor, morituri te salutant!
