The hidden power of the wanton youth cannot be Innocence, for the youth is far from faultless, but evidently there is a power of some sort being exercised over the gazers... who sound pretty dumb, when you stop and think about it a bit. But of course, a lamb being led to the slaughter hardly has the time to stop and think. Terrifying world, this one, really.
