Bye


One thing I never get used to: saying goodbye to my children (who aren't children anymore). It takes me a few days to recover from the feeling of emptiness after they leave.

I too have a hard time saying goodbye, but in opposite: to my mom. It always feels like the first time I left, unsure of when I'd return, Or maybe it's so hard because it always feels like the last.
