The irrepressible inner narrator guesses that the wolf in sheep's clothing ate the silly canary and escaped the consequences by posing as merely another irresponsible, absent-minded kitty-cat.
Perhaps in order to save the world one must give oneself over to the shape-shifting whims of the immediate moment, and just do the best one can, as one can, to ameliorate the suffering wherever one finds it.
There is never far to look.
Once again, hail to Suzanne for heroic efforts in the deep darkness of the actual present universe in which Nobody Really Knows.
